This started with quilting buddies on line but hoping to share with all my friends and family too. Just sharing each day as it comes and enjoying it to the fullest.

Walking on the snow
I was shocked that the snow in my yard was so crusted and so hard that the moose could walk on the top of it. But here is proof. These were taken from the inside hence the flash on the window.
lovely pics as usual--keep'm coming..we had a bit of flurries late last night and the mtns around us are covered....we hardly ever see any wildlife behind us these days--maybe they will return when all the construction is done...*~*CAROLE*~*
I am wife to one, mother to four, grandmother to TEN. I love living in Alaska! We just moved from Fairbanks in summer 2006 after living there for almost 28 years. We moved to AK from FL where all the children were born. I am originally from Maine however. Married a southerner(GA) who is as crazy over Alaska as I am--hence, we stay.

wow.. a moose in your backyard. They are so big! Would they bother domestic animals (like dogs?) if they were out?
