We moved to AK from FL where all the children were born. I am originally from Maine however. Married a southerner(GA) who is as crazy over Alaska as I am--hence, we stay.

Wow, that really *looks* cold! I guess that's not a good time for walking on the beach!
Fran love those ocean scenes! My husband could never understand why I liked the ocean, lighthouses but hated fish. I think it all goes back to when I was a girl went to Fisherman's Wharf in Montery, CA saw on the dead fish looking at me piled on ice. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
