A big challenge for me

This block contains 49 pieces and the block is only 10 1/2" so you know some of the pieces were tiny. It was a challenge for me. It is for a block exchange I belong to in Fairbanks for Martha--and I had to make two of these and she specified the colors. Doesn't it just sparkle! The next time we do this exchange I am planning on something like this instead of the easy log cabin block I chose. I would have never thought of these colors and it just amazes me how well it all goes! Mother Nature did know what she was doing.

veddy interesting! I too used fossil fern olive for the outside of that block! Great minds think alike!
Lots of snow today. Still snowing.
