- I am wife to one, mother to four, grandmother to TEN. I love living in Alaska! We just moved from Fairbanks in summer 2006 after living there for almost 28 years. We moved to AK from FL where all the children were born. I am originally from Maine however. Married a southerner(GA) who is as crazy over Alaska as I am--hence, we stay.

Fran I reached you by way of the gal in Wyoming who is building a house and she is a quilter and reads my blog Retired in Alaska. I'm Nan in Homer. I have lots of friends in Anchor Point but I didn't recognize your face here in your blog. I looked way back into 07 on your blog.
ugh...hard to lose all your info and start over...but on the other hand I have had it happen a couple of times in the past...amazing what we save we do not need...email addresses that is the hardest...I save everything important to an exterior hard drive...so much nicer...hope you will be up and going soon..
