Introduction

I will combine this with quilting and my experiences living in Alaska.

My name is Fran but some call me Franie so I named my blog that. I live in Anchor Point, Alaska, which is approximately 200 miles south of Anchorage and right on the Cook Inlet and Kachemak Bay. We just moved here in August of 2006, but we had been summering here for about 5 years. We lived in Fairbanks, Alaska for 28 years.

My favorite thing to do is quilting so I am hoping to share both Alaska and quilting with my friends.
